Inside the Classroom
The classroom is intentionally designed to support how students learn. Materials and layout were chosen to encourage communication, independence, and consistent engagement.
Small-Group Seating AreaA designated area used for activities such as oral assessments, small-group practice, and targeted support. Its placement allows for individual interaction while maintaining visibility of the full classroom. |

This Russian version of Go Fish, Na Rybal'ku, uses vocabulary from one of our units.
Students also use this area for interactive games such as a Russian version of Hi Ho Cherry‑O. |

The classroom library contains Russian texts in various formats and reading levels. On top are two Russian samovars.
The bulletin board features samples of student work. In this case, students have colored matryoshka dolls to reflect their own personalities and values.
Under the American flag is a poster with the words to the Pledge of Allegiance in Russian. |
