These projects begin with traditional decorative egg styles and allow students to creatively reinterpret them. They also connect patterns and symbols to what they’ve learned about Russian culture.

Folklore: Baba Yaga's Hut

Interpretive Models Students created models of Baba Yaga’s hut—traditionally depicted on chicken legs—based on their own interpretations of a folktale read in class. With no visual references, they built from their imaginations.
